Hailing from Melbourne Australia,
I am a conceptual writer who drinks a long black paired with a soy babychino.
To me, perfecting a coffee order is similar to watching your ideas grow. Things start off milky, cloudy and childishly bitter. The process makes you feel self-conscious.
But it is time for a new direction – so you move away from hot chocolates to dollops of chocolate flakes on a bed of foam. You are confident that you’re in this for the long haul.
You move through the ideation process growing a deeper understanding of yourself, the customer. In fact, you realize you’re dealing with someone who is lactose intolerant.
Lo and behold you edit things out like milk, sugar, artificial sweetener here and there. And in an instant you have unearthed the true talent in your order - the main protagonist - coffee.
You are now at your conclusion with a long black; a masterpiece of no bullshit, straight to the point copy  *cough* I mean coffee.
But you paused. Why?
It’s an acquired taste that not everyone gets. It is certainly not poetic or fluffy.  Have you deviated from the brief?
You quickly realize you’re missing the milky cloudy magic that started you on this journey…
So, at the end you produce something authentically beautiful.
A long black married to a soy babychino.
Enjoy sipping through my portfolio.
